The In-service Teacher Training Centre of Móstoles is a public institution within the Community of Madrid. Its main goal is to support pedagogically in service non university teachers, in two aspects, to make their permanent training easier and to facilitate didactic resources to make their work more efficient.
It is one of the nine In-service Teacher Training Centres that has the Madrid south administrative educational division. Geographically we are in charge of educational institutions of Móstoles area, with more than 200.000 inhabitants. We support and give training to 2.700 teachers; they are distributed in 75 centres of different educational levels centres, where there are approximately 33.000 students.
The pedagogical staff is formed by 10 educational advisers and the director. We also have a teacher in charge of religious activities, two office clerks and three helpers.
Our main goal is to adapt the training activities to the real and concrete teacher needs, and at the same time trying to adequate to the great continuous changes that are taking part in our educational system and in the organization of the educational centres.
It is the coordinating institution of the Project Learning by sharing.

The I.E.S.EUROPA was born in the school year 1992-93,with a number of 300 students ,as a school to test the Educational Reform, in which dates our country was involved ,and many years later it will be introduced as General Law of Education (LOGSE).The teacher staff it was formed only by 30 teachers, the majority of them came from other schools in the area, but all of them were joined by the same worry about the new Compulsory Secondary School (E.S.O.) and at the same time it supposed a challenge because the school was one of the tree school of Móstoles Municipality that this experience will be useful as a new experiment of innovation and evaluation to the area. It started with the creation of the second Cycle of Secondary and the bachelor's degree and subsequently with the New Law (LOGSE)in different branches : Scientific, Humanistic and Social studies and the novelty in being the only one school in this zone with bachelor in Fine Arts and handicapped
Students. Later a special Cycle in Gardening was included for students with Educational Needs and Professional Studies: 2 Cycles in Graphic Arts.
Nowadays we work 98 teachers and 12 people not academic staff and a number of 963 students whose ages are between 12-20 years.
The pupils are very divers, the majority of them come from lower-middle class and a 12% of immigrants and other etnias.
The educational and philosophical Line in our school is to have a special regard for :
To Integrate students whatever needs they demand.
To innovate methods and the co-ordination among teachers.
To plan and participate in extra school activities.
European vocation: Since 1997 we are taking part in different European Projects an in this moment 3 Comenius projects are carried out ;
“ The city : a place of life ; a place of living”( Comenius1.1)
“ The theathre and the citizens” (Comenius 1.3)
“Learning by sharing” (Comenius 2.1)
The real educational situation in the school joined to the necessity of the teacher in order to offer and answer to attend the diversity lead us to demand training activities to CAP de Móstoles about co-operative learning and here we are involved in our project .” Learning by sharing”.

The León Felipe school integrates pupils with a great diversity of necessities.
There are pupils from 3 to 12 years old, with a high percentage of children from different nationalities.
The staff includes Infant, Primary, English, PE and Music teachers and also a support department, it means a psychologist from the E.O.E.P., a therapy pedagogy and a Educative Inequality Compensation specialist.
The school has introduced the Quality System in ISO 9001.
We are characterised by the following features:

It is an interdisciplinary team which belongs to the Educational Department of the Community of Madrid. Its main goal is to give specialize help, concerning psycho pedagocial and educational guidance to Infant and Primary schools, and also some duties concerning general matters in Móstoles educational sector.
STAFF: 13 Psychologists and/or Pedagogists, 5 Social workers and 2 Logopedics doc tor.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
. To asses in a psycho pedagogical way students with psychic, sensorial or physically retarde hadicapped students, or to students with a high intelectual level to find the adequate schooling.
. Ellaboration of the schooling report of students with special needs.
. Advice and collaborate with educational centres to set the specific educational steps related to diversity.
. Advice and guidance about resources in the educational sector.
. Keep the coordination between the guidance departments in Seconday schools and other educational services and resources.
. Advice schools in matters such as the elaboration of their educational planning, curricular planning, evaluation, tutorial planning, school and family relationshcip, etc.

Keila Vene Gymnazium is a Russian school in Keila (small town not far from the capital of Estonia Tallinn). School was founded in 1967. It was renamed in gymnasium in 1995. There are 338 pupils (7-18 years old). The stuff includes 38 teachers. School is governed by the municipal authority. Nowadays KVG is the center of Russian culture in the region. Its mission is to give opportunity to each child to study; to integrate with Estonian society.
The school is participating in international projects: “The family exchange with the Netherlands ”, “My state”, “Violence at school”, ‘Learning by sharing”, the transnational project “How to solve ecological problems”. The school has already taken part in other Comenius activities.

The In-service educational centres were established in 1992 (four in Attica , two in Salonica and ten in various regions in Greece ) under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. their aim is to train newly-appointed Primary an Secondary teachers.
The Administration of each P.E.K. includes a Director (a University Professor) and two Deputy Directors (highly qualified primary and secondary teachers, supporting the administration.
The 2 nd P.E.K. includes schools of the North-eastern area of Athens and Attica.
The educational course contributes in cultivating positive attitudes towards life-learning as well as in developing skills that our contemporary society of knowledge needs.
This practice helps in improving the teacher's role and at the same time bettering the quality of Greek education.

This is a primary school in Warsaw attended by 320 children aged 7 to 13.
There are 57 teachers working with the students in 16 groups.
This Catholic school is open to all those who believe in the value of Christian upbringing. Our teachers always set themselves and their pupils the highest possible standards of achievement, in a friendly and caring environment.
Our pupils are guided to overcome difficulties and to grow up with a sense of responsibility and concern for others.
In our school curriculum we have included a new course on co-operation –„Sharing Stories about Co-operation” where children aged 9 learn how to work in co-operative learning groups following 30 lesson course.
The school also takes part in Comenius 1 – School partnerships project „Patience of Saints” and as an external partner (none grant participant) in Comenius 1 Content and Language Integrated Learning.

is a public primary school in Nacka municipality. It has been located to this spot for more than a hundred years. Nacka is situated at the border of Stockholm, capital of Sweden.
It is a small school offering secure surroundings.
This year we have approximately 130 pupils from 6 – 12 years old.
We have also day nursery ( Pre School ) for children from 1 – 5 years old for approximately 50 children.
The staff includes 15 teachers and 5 other employees)
In our work we have a comprehensive view regarding the child.
We want to develop and to utilise the great variety in the whole child.
Together the staff has widespread knowledge and co-operate in many areas.
Nacka språk- och utbildningscentrum (Nacka Language and Education Centre) also is located in the school. The pupils (from all schools in Nacka ) have the chance to become multilingual world citizens in Europe !
It is the purpose of mother tongue teaching that pupils should develop linguistically so that they thereby gain in self-esteem and have a clearer understanding of themselves and their situation in life.
The school also participate in a Nordic project (Games in the Nordic countries).
W e also have integrated the child welfare clinic and a school nurse.

It is a preschool (day nursery) in Nacka municipality. It started 1968 when the residential area was built. Nacka is situated at the border of Stockholm , capital of Sweden .
In our work we use all everyday situations together with our knowledge of the whole child to get a development of the children.
This year we have approximately 55 children from 1 – 4 years old.

The preschool also participate in an integration project with teachers and students from the School of Hout Bay in Cape town , South Africa .

REFUGEE CENTRE OF NACKA . Sweden |
The Refugee - Centre is located in Nacka municipality. We are serving all newly arrived refugees/immigrants.
The staff includes 10 persons with professions as social-workers, pedagogue and psychologist.
The staff's purpose is to receive refugees/immigrants who need a period of introduction to the Swedish society.
In our work, we are introducing children and youth into pre-schools, primary, secondary and upper secondary schools. We are following their development.
We also give children /youth possibility to handle their traumatic experiences from war, through therapy using creative methods.
Summer-camps are organized.
Special courses are organized for mothers with smaller children.
The adults are offered courses to learn the Swedish language and practical work to improve the Swedish language.
During the period of introduction there are also courses arranged concerning the Swedish society and how to be a parent in this country.
